BEGINNERS WELCOME AT OPEN DAY, SAT 10th MAY On Saturday 10th May, in conjunction with National Shooting Week, Newnham Park Shooting Ground will be offering free taster sessions to introduce beginners to the thrilling, Olympic sport of clay target shooting. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2007, this year’s Open Day expects to attract hundreds of visitors from Plymouth and the surrounding districts in Devon and Cornwall. NEWNHAM PARK SHOOTING GROUND BEGINNER’S OPEN DAY If you, a friend or a member of your family has never tried clay target shooting, then this is your opportunity. All you need to do is turn up at Newnham from 10am and register (identification such as a driving license or credit card will be required). Every visiting beginner gets to shoot at 12 targets absolutely free and, when they’ve got the bug, we’re offering a huge discount on an optional extra 20 targets. All ages and abilities are welcome and instruction and full shooting equipment will be provided. The 2008 Open Day aims to be a real family day out with something for everyone including interesting trade stands and fresh, local catering. For directions, go to the Contact Us page or to find out more about National Shooting Week, visit www.nationalshootingweek.co.uk. | ||||||
